Commercial property: Lightning Fibre opens new Eastbourne HQ

The firm, founded in 2018, is undertaking major infrastructure upgrades in towns across East Sussex and recently announced a multi-million-pound expansion into West Sussex and Kent.

 

Lightning Fibre moved to a Polegate headquarters in 2021, which it quickly out-grew. To help facilitate the business's rapid expansion, now numbering close to 200 employees, our commercial property solicitors helped secure the lease of a new 12,000 sq. ft headquarters on Moy Avenue. The Polegate facility will be retained as a local hub.

 

Lightning Fibre's new Eastbourne headquarters was officially opened in December, with Caroline Ansell, MP for Eastbourne, and Willingdon, on hand to cut the ribbon alongside Ben Ferriman, the firm's CEO and founder.Ansell was also given a tour of the commercial premises, comprising two floors, the ground floor acting as warehousing space and the first floor being high-quality offices.

Lightning Fibre has fast become a big part of the local communities they serve. In Eastbourne, they recently sponsored the ice rink that the Enterprise Shopping Centre constructed for the holidays. In addition, the company sponsors several junior sports teams and has donated thousands of pounds to St. Michael's Hospice in Hastings.
